Director Of Cloud Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Cloud Operations team as the Director of Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, with a focus on growth, security, and reliability. As the Director of Cloud Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, stability, and security.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and operations staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the growth, maintenance, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, engineering, and security, to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and solutions.

- Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of Windows Server environments within the cloud.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging cloud technologies to enhance business processes and operations.

- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation to achieve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Manage the implementation of Kubernetes-based container orchestration and ensure the scalability and reliability of containerized applications.

- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud services.

- Collaborate with security teams to establish and maintain robust security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, advising the organization on innovative solutions and approaches.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience (8+ years) in managing cloud infrastructure operations, preferably in a leadership role.

- Strong background in Windows Server environments, with a deep understanding of administration and optimization.

- Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation.

- Hands-on expertise in implementing and managing Kubernetes clusters.

- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives and migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are a plus.
