Managing Director Of Security Architecture And Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our organization as the Managing Director of Security Architecture and Engineering. As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading a team and overseeing the security architecture and engineering functions within the organization. This is a crucial role that requires extensive knowledge of security principles and best practices, as well as a proven track record of managing large teams within the Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of security architectures, frameworks, and solutions to protect our organization's critical assets and systems.
• Manage a team of 100+ individuals including security architects and engineers, to ensure effective execution of security initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of security requirements and standards.
• Lead and manage a team of at least 30 direct reports.

Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
• At least 10 years of industry experience in security architecture and engineering, with at least 5+ years in healthcare.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and HITRUST.
