Overview
As the Director of Marketing Strategy and Activation, you will be responsible for leading and driving the organization's marketing strategy and activation initiatives. You will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the company's goals and objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing excellence and drive business growth.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost optimization.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, content, and digital marketing, to develop compelling campaign concepts and messaging.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define marketing objectives, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize marketing reach and impact.
  • Identify and evaluate potential marketing channels, partnerships, and promotional opportunities.
  • Provide regular budget reports, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and budget planning processes.
  • Effectively communicate marketing plans, objectives, and results to key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
  • Identify target audience segments and develop strategies to reach and engage them effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, print, social media, events).
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee brand management activities, ensuring consistency in brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure marketing activation effectiveness and optimize strategies.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure compliance across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute marketing activation plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement.
  • Develop and implement the organization's marketing strategy, in alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives.

  • Proven experience in brand management and maintaining consistent brand messaging.
  • Excellent understanding of various marketing channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, events, and PR.

Estimate Salary Range: $160,000-200,000
Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
