Position: Marketing Specialist
Reporting to: Senior Director of Product Marketing
Schedule: 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $42,000 - $65,000 (This range is for NYC. Factors like skills and experience will be considered.)

Position summary
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation of customer lifecycle marketing campaigns and content contribution with the assistance of the Senior Director of Product Marketing. This role will assist in implementing successful product launches, content strategies, email marketing campaigns, acquisition and retention campaigns that drive registration and earned revenue to support both the social sector and mission of Candid. The goal is to deliver multi-channel marketing initiatives that articulate product value and meet brand and revenue objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with blog content to support growth of products and brand.
- Create, implement, track, analyze, and optimize paid social advertising campaigns on social media platforms etc.
- Plan and manage campaigns with the aid of the Senior Director of Product Marketing, provide tactical recommendations for the team and other stakeholders
- Report campaign performance by preparing reports from multiple tracking and analytics sources.
- Create and manage with assistance from Marketing, digital marketing campaigns for the Growth marketing team
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, both long term, and short term, to help achieve customer registration, acquisition, and retention for Candid's products.
- Plan, develop and distribute email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Manage with assistance from Senior Director of Product Marketing all logistical components for promotions—including cross-product promotions by coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, managing the project calendar, and reporting on each promotion
- Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders to plan and coordinate marketing activities to drive new registrations.
- Perform other duties and special projects to promote Candid’s products, as needed/required.
- Deliver analysis and insights to help optimize the Growth Marketing team initiatives.
Required Skills
- Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently alongside other initiative-takers in a goal-driven, fast-paced environment and with remote team members across time zones.
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
- Ability to monitor and report on campaigns. Recommend strategic adjustments based on campaign performance. Experience in image editing using design software like Photoshop or Canva required.
- Continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing.
- Creative, flexible, energetic, highly organized, responsive, resourceful, optimistic, personable, and a quick study.
- Exceptional copywriting and copy-editing skills to create and edit impactful marketing materials that are on brand.
- Sensitivity and respect for racial, gender, sexual orientation, and cultural differences.
- Champions and represents Candid’s core values: We are driven, direct, accessible, curious, and inclusive.
- Communications or marketing college degree strongly preferred; equivalent marketing experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM and Marketing platforms. Knowledge of the social sector and some work experience in the sector preferred.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be detail-oriented, must be uncomfortable with breaking deadlines.
