We’re seeking an all-star Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. The role’s objective is to generate leads for our sales team by building marketing campaigns using copy, implementing marketing strategy, and designing marketing materials and infographics to educate the consumer on the disruptive energy alternatives that our brand offers.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the creation of digital content to support multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads for our sales team. We're looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience in content creation and graphic design. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the ability to design attractive marketing materials (emails, advertisements, promotional pieces, infographics, WordPress pages) and be able to weave our brand's mission and attitude into the copy (blog posts, website articles, social). You will be the voice of our brand and responsible for creating fresh and engaging content we can deploy on all relevant platforms. It will be your job to help maximize our reach in engaging new audiences in new ways. +++ Candidates with SEO and keyword research experience will be strongly considered.
This is an in-person role only 9a-5p, M-F, based out of our office in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Upon application, candidates must provide samples of past marketing work or a portfolio website. The hourly pay is $25/hr. SES offers opportunities for growth and advancements within various positions. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for optimization, drawing on the deep understanding of our customer base developed over years of serving discerning clientele.
- Nurture and maintain relationships with supplier and installer partners, outside influencers leveraging our established reputation to maximize brand exposure and secure strategic collaborations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer trends, competitor activity, and using those insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Manage and optimize the company's digital presence, including website content, and social media platforms, to enhance brand visibility and drive online traffic and conversions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, print, events, and partnerships.
- Creation of compelling marketing materials, such as print and digital brochures, catalogs, advertisements, and promotions, ensuring consistent brand messaging that reflects the values and accessibility associated with Smarter Energy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement that generate leads for our pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Ability to navigate a diverse and complex database and CRM effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting, campaigns creation, multi-media lead generation, graphic design
- A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva- Premiere Pro a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on ROI management
- Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to work independently while building strong internal relationships.
- Good to have: Hands-on management and experience of SEM, SEO, marketing automation, ABM orchestration and analytics platforms
