Job Description

Cedarhurst, a regional senior living provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Marketing Specialist.


As a Marketing Specialist, you will work in collaboration with the Corporate Director of Marketing to develop and implement marketing campaigns and messaging to drive lead generation for a set region of communities. Additionally, you will collaborate with sales teams in concept development and production of marketing materials and activities. You will be responsible for managing your region’s project intake – ensuring messaging is consistent with branding standards, projects are on track to meet deadlines, and communicate progress and/or issues with all involved parties. The ideal candidate is a growth minded individual who is ready to let their passion and positivity guide them in a fast-paced marketing department.

As a Marketing Specialist, You Will


  • Focuses activities on organization goals while staying nimble and able to adapt and adjust quickly
  • Oversee all marketing and advertising activities for a designated region
  • Aid in the planning of community events and sponsorships
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of campaigns using tracking and analytics tools and provide actionable insights for optimization
  • Foster and advance internal and external partnerships to create high impact opportunities
  • Stay current on evolving marketing best practices and technology to provide recommendations to guide marketing strategies
  • Function as primary contact for designated region’s communities to drive lead generation
  • Assist in the development of community marketing plans and in addressing changing conditions or opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned by management


To become a Marketing Specialist, you will need –


  • Ability to commute daily to our corporate office in Clayton, Missouri
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a fastpaced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities at once
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and 5+ years of marketing project management experience OR 7+ years past equivalent experience
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Abode Creative Suite and Canva
  • Respectful and positive teammate with ability to influence others in crossfunctional forums
  • A comfort level with a Mac laptop computer, CRM, and high volume of email messages is important.
  • Superior project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • B2C marketing experience, familiarity with senior living industry a plus.
  • Passion to achieve results through self-motivation, initiative and proactive orientation with a sense of professional curiosity, desire to learn new things and to find/recommend solutions to problems.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Social media marketing knowledge

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
