Job Description

Onward Search needs a Marketing Specialist for a global healthcare company. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and execution of marketing tactics as outlined in the strategic business plan to achieve Company's business priorities, which includes promoting site-related services and activities to cultivate a thriving community.



This is a 12-month project opportunity working in the New York City office on a hybrid basis.



As a Marketing Specialist you’ll:

  • Support all aspects of physical and digital activation and marketing campaign integration in the region.
  • Assist in event promotion, including posting on social media, coordinating cross-promotions with partners, sharing targeted LinkedIn posts internally and externally, and communicating internal events and follow-ups. Develop a strategic e-marketing communications plan and schedule to maximize attendance.
  • Create event materials, such as printed programs, presentations, signage, and badges.
  • Support the implementation of all elements of the company’s site or virtual programs, which includes managing budgets, developing calendars, and recruiting speakers.
  • Participate in the company's presence at regional conferences, handling aspects like sponsorship, speaking engagements, event planning, advertisements, booth management, and securing speakers.
  • Aid in planning, executing, and tracking lead generation campaigns to expand the company portfolio in the region.
  • Monitor day-to-day regional activation activities and actively collaborate with each department to ensure work progresses according to plan.
  • Provide support for maintaining the web presence of the prospective region, including content updates for regional location pages.
  • Manage and coordinate tours and meetings with the site team for partners, prospective companies, colleagues, and high-profile guests.
  • Assist in implementing marketing and external engagement activations within the region, including overseeing product launch strategies and managing the project plan, budget, and reporting of ROI & project metrics to ensure successful execution.
  • Support the maintenance of corporate identity regionally through internal and external work, such as electronic and hardcopy newsletters, portal updates, external websites, brochures, presentations, and social media channels.
  • Manage attendee lists, create surveys, prepare event recaps and reports. Oversee event logistics, such as booking venues, managing catering, coordinating event calendar entries, setting up events with various teams (janitorial, AV, operations), and handling speaker management. Act as the point of contact on the day of events.
  • Assist in fostering regional community engagement with onsite Licensees through portal communications, educational programs, site celebrations, etc., while tracking and sharing Licensee progress reported in the media. Coordinate scheduling of investor and service provider visits to the Company and communicate meeting opportunities to Company residents.
  • Engage in ongoing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in the region, including strategic marketing partners, trade associations, and potential sponsors.


Skills & Experience needed:

  • E-Marketing experience and managing social media is preferred.
  • Experience working with and managing vendors, consultants, and budgets is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline is required.
  • 3-5 years of brand/product marketing and events experience is required.
  • Experience in event management tools (HubSpot, Splash, Salesforce, etc.) and online tools are required.
  • Must be detail orientated and have strong personal leadership skills.
  • Experience within a healthcare setting or industry association is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing skills are required.
  • Experience developing program content and advertising of content as well as developing and executing a Regional strategic marketing plan preferred.
