Job Description

Job Title:Content Services Analyst I

Duration: 5 Months Contract

Location: Remote

Pay rate:-21.56/hr on w2

Job Summary:

The Content Services Analyst role implements Client content services strategy.This includes work enabling written and video content production and monitoring and moderating user-generated content to ensure the online community is maintained as a safe and fun environment. This role coordinates with the internal content leadership team to support its mission, ensuring a safe and legal community environment, promoting excellent user experience, and helping to cultivate a strong community around the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the banned user process, and track and remove previously banned users.
  • Service user accounts, processing emails and complaints escalating when necessary.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring moderation and UGC volume, and analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of moderation policy.
  • Maintain the Moderation Guidelines and ensure they are up to date.
  • Produce reports on relevant moderation statistics, issues, and outcomes.
  • Work with content creators to coordinate and track the press fleet.
  • Regularly provide insights gained from community moderation to the Content and Product teams.
  • Work with stakeholders to enforce the online community moderation strategy, coordinating across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and providing superior quality of user experience and support to our community with the help of various communication tools.This includes:
  • Work with the content production disciplines (copy editing, video editing, content formatting) to ensure that all visual assets are inventoried, meet the required parameters, and are assigned to the correct articles and social media posts.
  • Monitor all industry and company information and news to anticipate potential issues.
  • Review and moderate all user-generated content and user profiles (either pre-, post-, or reactive moderation) within forums, comments, images, videos, and audio, liaising with the Legal and Community team where required.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience moderating user-generated content on a major website.
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Great knowledge of online legal issues and cool under pressure.
  • Team player, detail-focused, and reliable.
  • Knowledge of the Companys industry, target demographics culture, and internet culture.
  • Have a good knowledge of the principles of customer service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills and a proactive approach.
  • Previous experience in a digital production environment supporting the work of other teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and report statistics.
  • Working operational knowledge and understanding of online community platform moderation tools (Forums, Blogs, Photo Uploads, Commenting, etc.)
