Digital Content Editor - 74620

Position: 12 month contract

Authorization: W-2 only

Location: Remote

Rate: Depending on Experience- Market rate. Let's talk!

• Attend and participate in monthly Digital Content Editorial team meetings to discuss editing challenges, best practices, workflow, and style changes
• Copyedit content to ensure compliance with editorial policies and style guidelines
• Propose enhancements of existing development processes to continuously improve content quality and timeliness and to meet customer needs
• Review content for organization and clarity and provide feedback as necessary to Medical Editors and Editor-in-Chief
• Maintain content of style guide, templates, and editorial policies
• Work with Image and Permission coordinators to review, correct, and approve images for Clinical Overviews
• Ensure quality content and meet content delivery deadlines as set by editorial team

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of editorial experience and 3 years of copyediting experience in medical publishing
• Knowledge of and experience in communication with clinicians/health care professionals
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or other sciences.
• Excellent communication, management, organizational, and editorial skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines
