Responsibilities


This position is responsible for managing workstreams and monitoring projects for the CRM Strategy and Operations Team. We are looking for an individual well-experienced in design projects focusing on the digital and virtual experiential angle. In this new role, the candidate will lead projects across the CRM portfolio, from brief initiation to direct decision-making. This newly created role will consist of a broad scope of work, including project management, design planning, creative asset management, and production management, which are critical for the position. This role will also deliver key content, work on strategic initiatives, and manage external creative agencies and weekly governance across strategy and operations. This will require regular daily/weekly meetings with CRM Strategy & Operations leaders and the perspective Marketing leaders across the brand and functions.


What You'll Do...


CRM Planning Management: Responsible for partnering across disciplines within Ford Motor Company and external and internal agencies to ensure design assets are developed and delivered with quality, value, and on time. Energizes and leads the internal team and external design resources from the idea phase to production and fabrication. Ensures each stakeholder understands their role and responsibilities throughout the creative process. Regularly reviews the status of projects with appropriate leadership to verify that Company's expectations are met.


Brand Experience Design Development: Takes ownership of US Ford digital space design and activation of visual language across all communication touchpoints. Working in collaboration with the Functional Design leaders, Global Design Team counterparts, and other design leaders, cutting across brand marketing. Generates creative design proposals (visions, scenarios, concepts) to visualize the desired output and share it with internal and external team members. Participates in research activities and effectively translates customer needs into actionable design requirements. Execute those requirements into design solutions. Responsible for driving to final design recommendations, decisions, and design approval to enable artwork execution/production phases.


Design R&D and Innovation: Identifies and promotes self-initiated design concepts that generate critical business value for the design team and the global marketplace. Partners regularly with the Design, R&D, and business teams. Shares their work and support design culture development in the organization.


External Design Network: Supports the Ford Motor Company Design Organization in building and cultivating a strong external design network.


Qualifications:


  • Good communication skills to allow efficient interaction with internal and external partners, project coordination, and time management.
  • Have digital design experience.
  • Extraordinary design taste and expertise with an excellent sense of design trends.
  • Strong conceptual design skills and design strategy experience.
  • Collaborative and works well with others to deliver results; keep others informed along the process.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design required with minimum 10+ years of hands-on design experience.
  • Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality and comfortable with taking risks and proceeding through ambiguity.
  • Have full-time agency side and or client-side experience.
  • 360 brand design experience (i.e., digital, environmental, experiential).
  • Advanced experience with 3D and digital software's including Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, VRay, Premiere, Final Cut, Cinema4D, AfterEffects, and other digital programs.
  • Effectively communicates (verbally and written) with internal and external business partners.
  • Ability to multitask. Excellent time and project management skills to be able to meet project deadlines.
