Digital Asset Manager Jobs

Overview: The Correspondence Digital Asset Manager is responsible for the management of GMF's consumer communications digital library/repository and the company's ability to ingest, organize, store, protect, catalog, and provide access to digital materials. As part of the company's Correspondence Center of Excellence, you will work in partnership with the Product Marketing Manager's, ensuring the repository houses all designated correspondence and serve as a resource to the organization and intended stakeholders. This role will work across departments within GM Financial to ensure the quality and searchability of digital asset repository content and to understand the needs of its users, their assets, the lifecycle of an asset, review and expiration cadences of all assets as well as best practices to improve communication efficiencies. This role will work closely with the Product Marketing Managers as well as the Senior Product manager and their team to provide insight into previous campaigns through the repository to help guide future communications and relay best practices. They will be responsible for the creation of a digital document repository and the day-to-day organization of the digital asset management platform. Responsibilities: JOB DUTIES

• Assist with user Training/Onboarding
• Manage access to the repository and use, including auditing of users and licenses
• Manage the selection, description, preservation, and archiving of digital assets to support user groups including calataloguing, tagging, assigning workflows as appropriate to the asset types, asset owner and per the designated governance
• Understand, communicate and commit to GM Financial's vision of strategy and translate those into action plans, processes and quality outcomes that support GM Financial's business goals
• Assist and execute asset audits and data clean-up activities
• Conform with all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist with implementation and monitoring Governance, policy and processes

• Provide necessary reporting to leadership
• Oversee digitization and ingest activities including bulk ingest functions

• Define and configure workflows and provide user workflow support
• Manage access to the repository and use, including auditing of user licenses

• Understanding of basic product management, asset and/or repository platform management
• Organizing and building document repositories
• Experience with reporting findings and communicating needed and useful information
• Experience working with diverse teams, experience leading small groups of people towards a common goal

Skills

• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Good interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration and team skills

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager a plus

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• 2-4 years as a Digital Asset Manager or similar role, preferably with digital asset or digital librarian experience required
