NY Deputy Head of Video
Location: MailOnline – NYC - Astor Place
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

DailyMail.com is seeking a full-time Deputy Head to join the video department in the New York office.
The successful candidate will help manage a team of 15 full-time and freelance staff, run the department when required and coordinate video coverage with US-based editorial teams.
Requirements include:
- Understanding of legal covenants and editorial guidelines globally
- Daily contribution to news conference and video lists
- Strong background in news and showbusiness, along with an understanding of all social media video platforms
- Upwards of five years working in a newsroom, ideally with experience of managing people
- Good technical knowledge of most major video editing software and publishing systems, especially Adobe Premiere Pro
- Ability to work within a busy team with the focus on sourcing, editing and packaging video content to the highest standard
- Editing video content for a digital media organization, preferably within a fast-paced 24-hours news environment
- Must be available to work nights and weekends when required.
