Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)

Provide coaching staff with in-game video behind the bench

Edit scouting/game film for coaches and supply them with needed material in advance

Live capture and breakdown of all home games

Strong people-leadership skills. Previous management experience preferred

Comprehensive understanding of production process, including experience in on-set live action supervision and post production with a meticulous eye for detail

Experience with motion graphics a plus

Excellent storytelling, storyboarding and communication skills

Have solid understanding of 2D/3D Motion Graphics production workflows. Multimedia and/or technical development project experience a definite plus

Minimum 10 years of experience

Upwards of five years working in a newsroom, ideally with experience of managing people

Good technical knowledge of most major video editing software and publishing systems, especially Adobe Premiere Pro

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Editing video content for a digital media organization, preferably within a fast-paced 24-hours news environment

Ability to work within a busy team with the focus on sourcing, editing and packaging video content to the highest standard
