About the role:

As the Deal Specialist, Business Affairs you will will review, negotiate, and draft business terms. Reporting to our Business Affairs Director, you will manage agreements with both domestic and international licensees for our Consumer Products and Global Content Distribution teams.

About You:

• You have a passion or curiosity for Anime, Japanese culture
• You are experienced in drafting deal terms and interpreting licensing agreements
• You have hands-on experience using Rightsline and Google Workspace
• 3+ years of experience negotiating rights, contracts and licensing agreements in an organization with an understanding of Japanese business culture
• You have analyzed risk and developed process regarding business affairs contracts and licenses

A day in the life of our Contract/Business Affairs Associate:

• You will negotiate merchandise licensing agreements and content licensing agreements including TV Broadcast and SVOD/AVOD deals with domestic/international licensees
• You will communicate any contractual risks to internal departments and international affiliate companies
• You will track deal terms and update negotiation status on internal tracking systems
• You will work with our teams to ensure all negotiated terms and requirements are reflected in the agreement and ensure that all licensee activities and brand representation are aligned with what has been granted and approved by the IP holders in Japan

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
