Associate / Manager, Strategy & Deal Valuation

We are seeking an Associate / Manager, Strategy & Deal Valuation to join the Strategy & Corporate Development team at Wave Sports + Entertainment. The ideal candidate will have experience as an investment banking analyst, as well as a demonstrated interest in the media and/or sports industries.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years as an investment banking analyst
• Nice to have 1-2 years experience directly at a media or sports company

Roles & Responsibilities

• FP&A
• Assist in analyzing major revenue decisions to improve decision-making at the company
• Identify & develop a company POV on potential areas for inorganic growth across all business units
• Maintain and update aggregate Company Financial Model including various show-level models, and longer term forecasts
• Work with Content leadership to assist with performance expectations of talent / content investments and analyze our willingness to pay & evaluate various deal structures
• Responsible for supporting Monthly / quarterly board reporting as an output of Aggregate Financial Model.
• Create deal memos for content investment decisions for visibility to executives and board of directors
• Potential other Ad Hoc Financial reporting responsibilities to support Board requests.

• Deal Valuation
• Identify & evaluate potential assets for acquisition or partnership to enable growth of the company
• Assist in modeling, deck building & other due diligence related tasks on sell side and buy side activities

Physical Requirements

• Work is sedentary and involves sitting most of the time.
• Able to work full time M-F and nights and weekends as needed.
• Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and computer/printer
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Work Environment

• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.
• The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during productions when in office.

This role is a full-time position with a base salary range of $100,000 to $140,000/year, and may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. We believe in investing the very best in our employees, so in addition to the base salary for this role, all full-time employees at WSE receive:
