Data Entry Analyst Jobs

We are looking for a Data Entry Analyst to join our finance team. This candidate will be responsible for data entry of vendor bills, customer invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. The ideal candidate should have experience with accounting software and other programs, as well as strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review, correct, delete, or re-enter account data as necessary.
• Key data from source documents into the system.
• Get data from both primary and secondary sources, and maintain data systems
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
• Reconcile accounts and vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances.
• Provide occasional administrative support.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current.
• Enter new and updated account information into the database.
• Process, verify, and record invoices, payments, and purchase orders related to the accounts payable function.
• Ensure all entered data are accurate and complete.
• Comply with financial policies and procedures that affect accounts payable.

Qualifications:

• Independent, self-starting attitude.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• 2-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Desire to take advantage of training and learning opportunities.
