We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to join our team at a well-established restaurant and bar establishment. Our business is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences, and we're looking for a dynamic individual to contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with and report directly to the General Manager.
Maintain a clean and inviting dining room and bar area for guests.
Oversee and ensure smooth foodservice operations.
Place weekly orders for liquor, beer, and wine within budget limits.
Conduct monthly inventory checks for beer, liquor, wine, and retail items, adhering to set budget goals.
Supervise daily cleaning and upkeep, ensuring a well-maintained facility.
Manage the daily operations, ensuring staff compliance with company policies and job responsibilities.
Provide respectful and efficient service to patrons, meeting their needs promptly.
Train service staff in excellent customer service techniques, elevating overall service quality.
Collaborate closely with the chef and General Manager to align food and beverage service with customer expectations.
Maintain adequate inventory levels of liquor and retail items necessary for daily operations.
Develop well-structured waitstaff schedules based on business volume and staff availability.
Monitor facility conditions to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests.
Train and mentor new employees, monitoring their progress towards meeting performance standards.
Oversee front desk operations and create a positive initial impression for customers.
Requirements And Qualifications
Proven track record in an hourly manager or equivalent role within the hospitality industry.
Extensive Service Experience, Demonstrating Exceptional Interpersonal Skills.
Strong communication abilities, attuned to understanding customer preferences.
In-depth knowledge of bar operations and offerings.
Well-versed in various aspects relevant to the role.
Exhibits responsibility, efficiency, discretion, and organizational skills.
