About the Role
The Customer Success Engineer will report to the Customer Success Department with dotted reporting lines to the Sales and Engineering team. The main duties and responsibilities of the Customer Success Engineer shall include:
- Onboard, follow up and close leads/customers interested in Whatsapp service to be converted to paying customers.
- Support the roll – out of new applications and features.
- Follow up on industry trends, and suggest recommendations to improve the customer success team.
- Handle all vendor related issues of customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Follow up and ensure all customer route/delivery pending issues are resolved.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas that aid in increasing customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide effective and timely customer technical support.
- Provide procedural documentation support.
Requirements:
- Relevant Certification (e.g ITIL) is a plus
- Strong demonstration of emotional intelligence
- BSc. in English, or any Social Science field.
- Stakeholder/ People Management Skills.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge or experience with SQL/Database connections
- Fluency in French is an added advantage
- Proven work experience (Minimum of 1year) as a Customer Success representative or similar role
- Excellent communication skillsz
- Confident live debugging in front of clients
- Knowledge of web app development and relevant languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
