GEICO is currently seeking a Corporate Recruiting Manager to lead a talented team of recruiting professionals. In this role, you will lead the charge in driving top talent to GEICO by partnering with Recruiters, Business Leaders, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent flow of high-caliber candidates for our Corporate & Specialty career opportunities.
This role is hybrid, requiring 2+ days per week onsite in our Chevy Chase, MD headquarters.
Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Manage and mentor the team through the entire recruitment life-cycle including req calibration, sourcing, submittals, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Leverage your expertise to create Learning & Development opportunities around TA Best Practices.
- Ensure adherence and compliance with EEO laws & regulations related to the recruitment process when developing recruitment strategies and overseeing the recruiting team
- Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team of recruiters and recruiting operations specialists.
- Drive initiatives that champion GEICO’s commitment to Diversity & Inclusion throughout the hiring process
- Establish KPI’s and analyze reporting to drive performance and results
- Initiate and lead team-wide special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition
- Responsible for fostering and committing to a best-in class hiring manager, stakeholder, and candidate experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience defining and implementing sourcing strategies
- Experience establishing and managing Recruiter performance goals and creating growth plans for their development
- Ability to analyze data and metrics in order to meet monthly, quarterly, and YTD hiring goals
- At least 7 years of Talent Acquisition experience in a fast-paced, full life cycle recruitment environment internally for a large-scale corporate company/companies.
- Experience working in an applicant tracking system (ATS) such as Workday, Taleo, or other relevant platforms.
- Experience leading large scale project recruitment efforts (200 hires+)
- At least 1 year of direct experience managing a corporate talent acquisition team
- Experience sourcing from or supervising recruiters in e-talent sourcing platforms, including CRM software, LinkedIn Recruiter, or other relevant platforms
- Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4 years additional relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success building and developing a team of recruiters
- 10+ years of Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience in a large-scale corporate environment.
- Comfortable analyzing recruiting data and drawing insights to inform future investment decisions and TA strategy
