Job Description
General Summary Of Position


Responsible for Talent Acquisition department support activities related to job boards and postings, candidates including but not limited to scheduling phone screens and interviews, reporting and other types of administrative and operational support for the department. Serves as a liaison to Talent Acquisition Partners, TA Leadership, and MedStar new hires. Responsible for partnering with key stakeholders on site specific projects and initiatives.


Primary Duties And Responsibilities


  • Sends out offer letters to new hires.
  • Extensive use of Cornerstone Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to review, update, and maintain applicant data.
  • Reviews job applications and resumes to support the Talent Acquisition Partners, as needed.
  • Manages job board postings, run, and distribute activity reports.
  • Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
  • Schedules phone screens and interviews for Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Uses Microsoft Excel to track reports and activities.
  • Provides backup support to the Talent and Technology Coordinator, as needed.
  • Updates and maintains career fair event calendar via Microsoft Teams and Word.
  • Attends occasional onsite job fairs and events in the local Maryland, Washington DC, and northern Virginia areas.


Minimum Qualifications


Education


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree preferred


Experience


  • Less than 1 year of related experience in human resources, administrative work, or customer service preferred. preferred


Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and computer skills required. Must have high level of confidentiality. Experience using the Microsoft 365 suite preferred.
