Corporate Event Manager (Sales) (5 years large-scale events experience required)

We Crush Events is the future of corporate events! We manage and execute hundreds of events a year for some of the top companies across the globe. These events include virtual experiences, physical in-person events and a hybrid of both as we pioneer this new form of gatherings!
Our team of kickass event professionals spans across the nation. We are looking for a seasoned events professional with a sales-driven work method to join our rapidly growing team and help us expand into brand-new markets!
WHO YOU ARE:
Our new Corporate Event Manager (Sales) is a hungry self-starter looking to build their own market in the given region!
- You’re used to wearing many hats, and you look great in all of them!
- You’ve been “in events” your whole career and aren’t sure where your next opportunity for growth is, but a challenge, a risk and something refreshing lights you up.
- You take initiative, not a backseat.
- You always want to be the first to figure “it” out - whatever it is.
- You don’t just hit your goals, you crush them.
- You get an adrenaline rush every time you cross something off your list.
- You must have been a juggler in a past life because now you can multitask like a pro!
- You will grow new corporate business for WCE by selling, then producing full scale events from start to finish.
- You love talking and listening to people in hopes of figuring out a solution to their problems. You ask a lot of questions.
- Your attention to detail is so refined that you could find a needle in a haystack without breaking a sweat.
- You have a Type-A personality and probably color-code your closet, or make your bed before you get in it.
DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE:
SALES
- Negotiating rates with venues and vendors
- Recruiting brand new clients via cold calling, electronic and other outreach methods
- Closing a high volume of virtual and in-person event bookings and upselling to meet monthly/quarterly sales and revenue goals
EVENT PLANNING
- Building Run of Shows, creating timelines, communicating with venues/vendors, and fully producing corporate events from A to Z
- Managing client budgets of $3,000 - $2,000,000+ to cover all elements of their desired virtual, physical or hybrid event
- Day-of event management either onsite or virtually from load-in to load-out.
- Event Assistant provided as support for venue/vendor outreach, client proposals, and event production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5+ years experience managing large scale corporate events
- Event sales experience highly preferred
- Experience with software platforms like Zoho CRM, G-Suite, Canvas, etc. highly preferred
Daily and weekly interaction with company HQ and other Regional Markets via Zoom. We Crush Events is a TEAM and we all work collaboratively!
