Event Producer Jobs

Eight Seconds seeks Event Producer/Event Production Company for immediate, temporary (1099), hire.

Responsibilities:
Day of Show.
Project Management: Lead all aspects of event planning and project management leading up to the rodeo event. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including vendors, sponsors, performers, and volunteers, to ensure smooth execution of the event.
Run of Show: Oversee the successful execution of the event on the day of 6/17. Manage the event timeline, coordinate logistics, and ensure all elements are in place for a seamless experience.
Event Operations: Take responsibility for all operational aspects of the event, excluding rodeo and animal management, which will be handled separately. This includes venue management, ticketing, security, signage, concessions, parking, and other essential event logistics.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, setup, and breakdown of equipment and services.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries, internally and externally. Maintain effective communication with sponsors, vendors, attendees, and other stakeholders throughout the event planning process and on the day of the event.

Requirements:
Live Event Experience: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing live events or similar large-scale productions.
Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proven experience in successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Immediate Availability: Must be able to start immediately and commit to the contract period until the day of the event on 6/17 and must reside in Oregon.
Team Player: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals and ensure a cohesive team effort.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the event are meticulously planned and executed flawlessly.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet, make quick decisions, and resolve any issues that may arise during the event.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and effectively convey event details and expectations.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjusting plans as needed to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
