Event Coordinator
Chicken N Pickle, the hottest new entertainment concept in town, is looking for an Event Coordinator. Our brand is that of a rambunctious, multi-generational family that works hard and plays even harder. As an Event Coordinator, you’ll provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment by answering incoming guest calls and assisting with a variety of inquiries about the venue, pickleball, events, etc. Event Coordinators will have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to keep cool under pressure to ensure the Guests have an extraordinary experience. Working on nights, weekends and holidays may be required for this position, as well as assisting in the restaurant on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:

Inbound Sales:
Manage inbound events for tier 2 and below clients (tier 1 clients are key accounts that should be sent to Sales)
Contribute to the overall sales team goals by meeting and exceeding personal quotas, monthly, quarterly and annually
Manage all assigned leads with a sense of urgency, accuracy and professionalism
Maintain contacts in TripleSeat
Follow up with inbound requests to see if they have made a decision
Call upon contacts to see what went well and what could be improved
Foster client relationships through ongoing communication to ensure repeat business or referrals
Demonstrate the ability to negotiate and problem solve to close the sale
Identify opportunities for selling/upselling
Create, manage and confirm event bookings with attention to detail
Maintain and ensure the BEOs have all the required information
Develop a strategy to cultivate client relationships through ongoing communication to ensure repeat business or referrals
Utilize and create reports and dashboards to ensure personal and department Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are being met or exceeded
Property Events:
All location property events:
Ensure all location property events meet the culture of their location and discuss any changes to better align with their community
Maintain and ensure the BEOs for Property Events have all the required information
Utilize established relationships with local partners/vendors to help execute property events, decorations, prizes, etc.
Once relationships with local businesses are established, the EC will call on those partners for opportunities to partner
Responsible for receiving and storing event supplies
Single location property events
Come up with creative property events for their individual market
Work with the Event Manager to plan property events that are unique to their location to serve the culture of their city and keep the property lively
Manage the overall planning and details for these events
Maintain and ensure the BEOs for Property Events have all the required information
Community Events:
Work closely with the Community Coordinator for their location to plan community events
Maintain and ensure the BEOs for Community Events have all the required information
Communication:
Communicate with the Event Hostess and Event Manager on event details, changes/updates to allow for a successful event execution by Operations and the Culinary Team
Character Traits:
Eager to learn new sales skills
Manage an independent work schedule with integrity and as expected
Contribute to a collaborative environment with the Sales Team and other departments within the restaurant
Maintain a calm, even-tempered, customer-focused demeanor
Understand processes and the ability to find information quickly
Ability to work for and lean into a start-up mentality
Key Qualifications:
· 2+ years previous sales experience in hospitality, restaurant or entertainment venue focus on event
sales
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent self-accountability for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
· Ability to communicate effectively with guests, return guests, co-workers and management
· Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
· Process oriented, highly organized, fast and accurate and able to work under pressure
· Excellent interpersonal and people skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
· Ability to multi-task and problem-solve
· Capable of managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously
· Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
· Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing or Business, preferred
