Title: Coordinator, Retention and Performance Marketing

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Type: Full-time


Role Snapshot:

Coordinator, Retention and Performance Marketing will report to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Commerce and work closely with the Marketing, Creative and Brand Management teams. The coordinator’s primary focus will be email/SMS marketing as well as loyalty programs across the following brands: Le Monde Gourmand and Tru Western. The role will also be supporting performance marketing activities across both brands.


Role scope and responsibilities:


RETENTION

  • Strategize and execute A/B testing across email, text, and loyalty to enhance understanding of our customer behavior to leverage data for future campaigns.
  • Lead customer segmentation strategy, and upload and send campaigns in accordance with the marketing calendar.
  • Implement automated email marketing and SMS flows to increase acquisition and retention.
  • Generate creative briefs for Email and SMS campaigns.
  • Analyze performance and suggest improvements on campaigns and automations and the loyalty/referral programs.
  • Grow email, SMS, and loyalty customer lists across 2 brands.
  • Report on sales revenue generated from retention marketing efforts while identifying patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Lead loyalty and referral program strategy, implementation, and analysis


PERFORMANCE MARKETING

  • Generate creative briefs for Performance Marketing campaigns.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly media performance reporting, including KPI definition, performance analysis, key learnings, and actionable insights.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the marketing team focusing on Performance campaigns’ implementation, optimizations, and reporting while driving maximum efficiencies, return and YoY growth against KPIs.
  • Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.


Required skills and qualifications:


  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Shopify and Google Analytics
  • Experience with loyalty/referral program tools
  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or related degree
  • Familiarity with Okendo, Power Reviews, Yotpo, or similar
  • Agency experience a plus
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in digital marketing, media planning, and/or retention marketing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and ESP (Klaviyo)
  • Familiarity with HTML and content management systems
