Communications Manager - Healthcare Industry

A healthcare organization in New York is seeking a Communications Manager to develop and implement our communications strategy and drive engagement with our stakeholders. The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our external communications, ensuring that our brand is well-positioned and well-represented.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop communications strategies that support business goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans to support our business goals and increase stakeholder engagement.
• Serve as a spokesperson for the company and effectively communicate key messages to various audiences.
• Monitor media coverage and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, sponsorships, and other external events to increase brand awareness.
• Ensure all communications are compliant with healthcare regulations and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts to secure press coverage and increase media visibility.
• Draft press releases, statements, and other media materials.
• Manage all aspects of the company's external communications, including media relations, social media, content marketing, and community engagement.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and initiatives.
• Manage crisis communications as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing crisis communications preferred.
• Experience managing social media, content marketing, and community engagement programs.
• Previous experience in the Healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and guidelines.
