JOB SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the Sr. Program Manager, Lead. The Program Manager will play a critical role in Genfare’s evolving and growing fare collection products and services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced matrix organization leveraging their broad skill stack in project management, software implementation and hardware implementation. As a Program Manager within the Programs and Implementations team of Genfare, your core responsibility will be to lead and drive the ultimate customer experience. This will be achieved through planning, directing and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure that project implementation objectives are accomplished within time and funding constraints. As a Program Manager you will learn the Genfare hardware and software products. You will guide our customer through our standard implementation process by making the complex simple. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Reviews project proposals or plans to determine the time frame, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for accomplishing a given project
· Leads and coordinates the activities of cross-functional project teams to ensure project progresses on schedule and within the planned budget
· Defines and actively manages project schedules, milestones and issue lists
· Reviews, tracks and prepares project reports and key performance indicators for management, clients and other stakeholders
· Perform business requirements gathering and use-case discovery with the Solutions team to define the client’s configuration.
· Leads the implementation of projects working directly with the customer to support their user acceptance testing and production migration
· Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, third-party vendors, partners and internal project stakeholders
· Identify, define and document best practices and contribute to Genfare’s continuous improvement initiatives
· Requires up to 25% travel
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or a related field
· 5+ years project management experience
· 3+ years’ software implementation experience
· Technical knowledge and skills related to at least 3 of the following SaaS, on-premises software, Mobile, electronic payment, hardware and mechanical equipment
· Experience with cloud based project tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years’ project management experience with complex implementations in matrixed organizations
· 3+ years' experience in client facing project management
· PMP and Agile certification(s)
· Experience with fare collection in the transportation industry

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
· Ability to implement complex systems that include the integration of software and hardware platforms.
· Up-to-date understanding of market trends and keen interest in following emerging technologies
