Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (*Please note that this is a Temporary to Permanent position)
Location: Full-time onsite
As the Clinical Coordinator, you'll have prior experience working in a medical office setting, and you'll assist the Operations Manager with effectively managing the office operations, including payroll, ordering supplies, and scheduling visits, among other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Accurately enter admission and discharge data into EMR
• Manage communications for MD orders to patient's physician
• Participate in performance improvement projects
• Refer patients to Visiting Doctor Services and follow up to ensure the patient was seen and documentation was received in a timely manner
• Request signed MD orders, letters of medical necessity, and progress notes from MD offices
• Email land fac notes to MLtC
• Answer and triage calls for the CHHA office
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city regulations by entering the patient's assignment of benefits into EMR system
• Built and maintain positive relationships with various MD offices to ensure timely receipt of orders, letters, and progress notes for patient care.
• Order medical supplies for patients as requested by the RN and Nursing Supervisor
• Assist the Operations Manager with running office operations
• Input MD orders and face-to-face certifications into tracking

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical supplies. Experience with Medline is a plus but not required (we will teach!)
• Experience working in an MD office or other healthcare environment. This position will be working closely with clinical staff, so understanding operations and terminology is crucial
• Comfortable working with lots of confidential information and working with strict compliance policies and guidelines
• Prior experience dealing with MD offices, getting orders signed, requesting medical letters of necessity, and following up with offices for documentation (insurance payments)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, transport materials or equipment, lift, move, or carry some items throughout the day
• Posses the sight/hearing senses or uses prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
• Must comply with regulatory health status requirements of the NY State DOH
