We provide community-based prevention and family foster care services, group homes in the community for struggling children and families within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and short-term residential services for unaccompanied migrant children. Program Background


Behavioral Health Services fosters an environment of clinical care driven by the physical and emotional needs of the clients and families we serve. These services are carefully assessed and administered through best practice by qualified professionals for optimal health outcomes.


Position Summary


Underthe supervision of the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Clinical Coordinator will ensure that clients receive appropriate clinical services and that these services are appropriately documented. The Clinical Coordinator is the Clinical Team lead and delegates various clinical tasks to other clinical staff.


Required Qualifications


  • Knowledge of youth developmental stages and family dynamics.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Master’s degree in social work with an LMSW or an MHC with a limited permit.
  • Experience in the assessment and treatment of children and families.


Responsibilities


  • Be an active participant in the hiring process.
  • Ongoing consultation and training of parents and staff to improve the delivery of services and outcomes.
  • Provides quality oversight of assigned programs and drives program development initiatives with assigned programs.
  • Act as a backup when necessary for clinical crisis coverage.
  • Provides emergency and after-hours behavioral health consultation.
  • Ensure required documentation for all encounters is completed within established timeframes.
  • Provides oversight and manages the clinical intake process.
  • Respond to emergencies as needed and/or directed.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining efficient workflows and boundaries within the Residential Clinical Programs.
  • Manages all outside referrals for clinical services.
  • Liaison that communicates effectively between different departments
  • Maintain program statistics, prepare reports, and align program operations with authorized budgets.
  • Advises the Clinical Director on the emerging and chronic behavioral health needs of the youth in care and recommends expanding Evidence-Based Treatment models.
  • Assist in training and supervising all clinical assigned staff.
  • Coordinates effective communication within the team to develop/enhance clinical forms, letters, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and staff.
  • Reviews and Approves Treatment recommendations.
  • Works with the Treatment Team members to establish treatment goals for youth/children utilizing historical and current information available.
  • Provide clinical support to Behavioral Health staff according to the scope of practice and in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Salary Range


$65,000.00 - $68,000.00(35 hours/week)


Hiring Incentive - $1,500 after 500 worked hours
