The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai manages clinical studies sponsored by the NIH and industry that aim to develop and validate new ways to detect, diagnose, treat, and prevent Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias in older Chinese Americans. The CRC is an entry level position, responsible for conducting and assisting in clinical research studies under the supervision of the PI or senior clinical research staff. This individual obtains informed consent, collects, maintains, and organizes study information. Assists in the preparation and submission of grant applications and documents (e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $34,999.88 - $74,262.95 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

- Assists in the activities related to clinical research including, but not limited to: obtaining informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, registering patients with sponsoring agencies, administering questionnaires, and answering telephone calls.
- .Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures.
- May assist in the preparation for regulatory agency site visits.
- Performs other related duties
- Ensures accurate, confidential, and complete compilation of data.
- Assists in the collection, analysis, and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.
- Conducts routine and standardized human subjects research using appropriate research or interview techniques specific to subject matter of the research project, under direct supervision of the PI or senior clinical research staff.
- May secure and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol.

Requirements:
- Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred or a combination of relevant research experience and education
- Experience Requirements 0-2 years of research/human subjects experience
- Full-time CRC who can read, write, and speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese. Trilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese, and English) are preferred. Minimal commitment for the job position is 2 years.
