Project Coordinator - Research

The Project Coordinator will support the Facebook Reality Labs Research team with various aspects of budgets and contracts management, program management, vendor supply chain management, and research study coordination.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversees and tracks contract routing and purchase request process

• Reconcile invoices against budget

• Submit purchase requests and follow-up with approvers, track orders, communicate status to stakeholders, resolve issues

• Track budget

• Manage vendor relationships and set up meetings

• Act as liaison between engineers, researchers, vendors, and procurement team

• Structure, manage and maintain information/document repositories

• Schedule research study participants and facilitate operations and communications

• Meeting and event planning with internal and external teams

• Log outgoing and incoming prototype devices in inventory management system

• Perform basic QA on returned prototype devices, and pack for shipping

Qualification

• Experience with research/academic environments

• 3+ years of experience managing budgets and contracts

• 2+ years experience managing vendors and external suppliers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent computer skills and proficient with spreadsheets (G Suite, Excel)

• Experience with vendor supply chain management and inventory tracking

• Bachelor's Degree in Business administration or related field

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive, and resourceful

• Experience working in a Lab

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working with team members from a variety of different backgrounds (scientists, engineers, program managers, supply chain, finance)

• Experience working with lawyers preferred

• Experience in the Health industry preferred
