Job Description

Creative Business Inc is searching for a motivated, inspiring and detail oriented chief operating officer (COO) who along with strong leadership skills has the ability to approach business with a creative point of view.

The ideal COO has extensive experience in the financial service industry, preferably having worked in an executive role.We believe this trajectory helps a person develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of our industry.


Objectives of this role

·Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy.

·Assist the CEO and the Management Team in developing the vision and growth path for the firm.

·Translate this strategic vision into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting,

performance management, and annual operations planning.

·Lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective.

·Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team

members can thrive and that organizational goals are met.

·Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.

·Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary

Responsibilities

·Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement

·Oversee operations, accounting, business development and partner with CEO to implement business strategies

and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives of the company.

·Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.


Required skills and qualifications

  • Ability to work independently, with a high degree of reliability and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, exercise sound judgment, and use discretion and initiative in performing complex work.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive work environment marked by transparency, communication, relationship building, teamwork and empowerment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills as well as proven organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership approach that includes a high level of integrity, mutual respect, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting standards, policies and procedures relating to budgeting, and financial management.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in business related field.
  • Minimum 6 years progressive accounting and financial experience and 4 years management/leadership experience.
