Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Coordinator to join our dynamic Global Casino Service team. As the Coordinator, you will be the shore-side casino host, dedicated to ensuring exceptional guest experiences before and after their voyages. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with guests through personalized communication and provide top-notch customer service. In addition, you will play a crucial role in managing casino group contracts, VIP cruises, and VIP customer service, making every guest feel like a valued member of our community.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the shore-side equivalent to the shipboard Casino Host, engaging with guests through various channels to establish meaningful connections.
Exceed guest expectations by handling casino guest bookings, reservations, onboard arrangements, and special requests.
Process amenities, "FunShops," and other complementary services for qualified casino guests.
Maintain and update weekly reports, guest and credit lists, and distribute them accordingly.
Respond to requests for onboard casino win/loss statements promptly and accurately.
Stay well-informed about promotional events and casino offerings, effectively communicating them to guests.
Resolve guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Maintain accurate guest lists, amenity lists, and other player data sources.
Adhere to comping guidelines and other casino-related policies and procedures.
Provide support to both shore-side and shipboard casino marketing/management teams.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED (Some college or post-secondary education preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role within the cruise industry or marketing field.
Preferred Skills: Previous experience in the cruise, casino, hospitality, or guest service industry is advantageous. Casino experience is highly desirable.
Physical Demands: This role primarily involves working at a desk or computer for extended periods.
Travel: Minimal or no travel required.
Work Conditions: You will work in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment with minimal safety and health hazards.
