Snappt is in need of a long-term, experienced Cash Application & Collections Specialist to receive and record customer payments and identify and resolve past due accounts receivable.

What we do
We stop the bad guys. Since 2020, we have saved our customers over $150MM in potential losses.
The Snappt platform leverages our proprietary algorithm to effectively and efficiently identify tampered or altered documents used for income or financial verification. For example, this empowers property managers and owners to avoid costly evictions (and the associated bad debt.)

What you will do
- Manage billing inbox (customer invoice/statement request & collection correspondence)
- Reconcile customer balances with a focus on resolving payment discrepancies, conduct research for unidentified customer accounts and/or over-payments
- Recommend quarterly write-off for review and approval
- Enlist the efforts of Onboarding and Sales teams, when necessary, to expedite the collection process
- Contact customers when necessary to determine the proper payment application
- Process high volumes of payment transactions (ACH and check payments)
- Assist in the month-end processes as needed
- Create weekly reports to determine the status of accounts receivable
- Research and resolve customer duplicates, erroneous payments and return deposit items
What you bring
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Online and/or NetSuite required
- Strong customer service skills
- Have experience with high-volume processing as well as a full-cycle understanding of Accounts Receivable
- Minimum of one to three years experience in AR/cash application and collections role
- Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines
- BS Degree in Accounting or other Business Discipline is preferred, but not required. Extensive work experience is comparable to a degree.
- Knowledge of Basic Accounting required
