Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or

A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in collections

Proficiency with MS Office tools including Advanced Excel Knowledge

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial colleagues

Ability to collaborate with large groups across geographies and functions

· Ensure Customer accounts have updated balances

·Must prove to have a strong communication, organization, and reconciliation skills. Should have knowledge of Word Processing software.

·Must have computer training and/or experience with Microsoft programs.

·Distribute copies of the Explanation of Benefits to the appropriate collector in a timely manner

·Prepare deposit for data entry to post payments to the appropriate account.

·Assist data entry with balancing deposits.

·High school diploma or GED equivalency

Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

2-4 years of relevant work experience required

Receivables automated lockbox system experience is a plus

Application of cash receipts in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Coordinate application of cash receipts from all sources including lockbox, wires, and ACH payments

Cash application – posting commission payments to client accounts

Manage billing inbox (customer invoice/statement request & collection correspondence)

BS Degree in Accounting or other Business Discipline is preferred, but not required. Extensive work experience is comparable to a degree.

Minimum of one to three years experience in AR/cash application and collections role

Have experience with high-volume processing as well as a full-cycle understanding of Accounts Receivable

Respond to requests for information from Corporate, Internal Audit and other internal management

Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Application of receivables to Cash Receipts Log, QuickBooks and Finance Trackers for all lines of business

Basic financial operations knowledge including General Ledger

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance detail provided by pharmaceutical companies

Heavy manual data entry experience with a high degree of accuracy

Excellent time management to be able to prioritize multiple goals

Understand SOX controls as they relate to the job responsibilities and perform all tasks in a SOX compliant manner.

Proactively manage A/R portfolio by identifying potential issues before they roll past due, utilizing resources and tools available.

Knowledge of debits, credits and account reconciliation is required

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - VLookup and Pivot Tables

Proven management experience leading a team within a rapid and abstract environment

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Leverage data from numerous databases and internal tools (using Excel, SQL, or other data management systems) to perform reporting and analysis.

Experience working with retail vendors as either a buyer or financial analyst/manager

2+ years of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

6+ years of Project/Program Management Experience

6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience

6+ years of business-to-business collections experience

6+ years of SOX, controllership, or compliance experience

Experience with writing intermediate to advanced SQL queries is a plus

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Report daily cash receipts details to finance staff.

Prior Cash Application & Accounts Receivable experience in a large business setting is REQUIRED.

Bachelor's Degree preferred or prior work experience and/or equivalent experience.

Collaborate with internal collection staff to complete daily cash application of cash receipts.

Work with the collection staff to identify any unapplied cash activities.

Education: associate degree in finance or accounting or a related field or equivalent experience.

2-5 years' experience in accounts receivable and cash applications

Oracle and GetPaid experience are preferred but not required.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Reviews all remittance from customers or clients and match the payments to the appropriate invoices.

Posts lockbox, wire transfers, credit card payments, inter-company transfers, refunds, and adjustment entries.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpretation skills.
