MajorDuties

As an Business Services Support Specialist you will: Provide the full range of business services in response to the specific needs of the organization. Assist program officials in defining the level and kinds of services needed to carry out assigned responsibilities and to accomplish project objectives. Contribute to the development, enhancement, and improvement of administration and operations. Provide administrative and procedural support to the organization. Prepare and submit oral and written reports.

Requirements

US Citizenship is required. Background Investigation may be required. One-year probationary period may be required. QualificationsRequired

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level, which must include the following experience: providing administrative support on a wide variety of administrative/operational processes and procedures to enhance business services. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related or Have a have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. Documenting Experience: In accordance with Office of Personnel Management policy, federal employees are assumed to have gained experience by performing duties and responsibilities appropriate for their official series and grade level as described in their position description. Experience that would not normally be part of the employee's position is creditable, however, when documented by satisfactory evidence, such as a signed memorandum from the employee's supervisor or an SF-50 or SF-52 documenting an official detail or other official assignment. The documentation must indicate whether the duties were performed full time or, if part time, the percentage of times the other duties were performed.
