Our Business Operations team is seeking a passionate, highly strategic, driven, and analytical Manager to partner with our Member and Customer Success (MCS) Organization leaders to tackle high-priority strategic questions for our organization and be part of the core Business Operations (“Biz Ops”) team responsible for objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives across all of LinkedIn.
The Biz Ops team is broadly aligned to the functional areas of the organization which span Global Support, Customer Success & Insights for our SaaS customers, Product Operations and Customer Experience. This role will work closely with leaders of these three organizations on long-term, MCS wide strategic initiatives. The role is highly cross-functional, requiring solid business acumen and influence skills to identify, prioritize, and implement high-impact initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology in general and LinkedIn specifically.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic projects for our leadership that provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with partners at all levels, especially senior executives
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
  • Partner with MCS leader to shape the vision and optimize the execution across key long-term, cross-team strategic priorities for the org and company
  • Identify opportunities to increase the impact, effectiveness and efficiency in delivering value to LinkedIn’s Members and Customers through our teams in MCS
  • Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Go-to-market Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Sales
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues, define actionable and innovative improvement levers, and support implementation/rollout of your recommendations
  • Bring clear thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to a range of challenging business questions
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or a strategy-related role with exposure to technology driven businesses
  • BA/BS degree in economics, engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proactive and passionate: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Initiative and ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities
  • Highly analytical: experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced Excel models. SQL a plus
  • Executive presence: Experience working closely with senior executives to solve challenging business problems; Ability to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership
  • High-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
  • Effective communications: Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Practical experience: Experience with enterprise software, SaaS or online advertising; experience and interest in driving recommendations for strategic topics/problems across GTM, Post-sales, Customer Success, Value realization, or Global Support
  • Natural problem-solver: comfortable with data and ambiguity, and able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on the overall strategy

The pay range for this role is $123,000 - $193,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
