LinkedIn’s Business Operations team is looking for a strategic thinker and motivated operator who is passionate about building technology platforms that enable LinkedIn to serve the needs of its users, and customers globally. This person will support the Product Business Operations team that partners with Horizontal GTM Tech and business teams to define and execute the technology roadmap, including estimation and measurement of impact. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, strategic, communicative, empathetic, and analytical. The ideal candidate will also have relevant experience in scaling technology platforms, has a customer-centric mindset and is always asking how our work is improving the lives of our stakeholders — LinkedIn’s members, customers, and employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively flag risks or bottlenecks, and recommend course-corrections as appropriate
  • Partner with R&D team focused in core area of technology for GTM and leverage data & insights to drive informed decision making, stakeholder value and engagement
  • Work closely with immediate team and cross-functional partners to align visions and priorities, including both customer-facing and operational components
  • Serve as the connective tissue of the cross-functional team, working to share knowledge, frame/ synthesize opportunities and drive people towards a common goal
  • Provide partnership and expertise in researching, collating, and developing product strategy for defined area of GTM tech stack
  • Define goals and key performance metrics for key areas of responsibility
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, mathematics, engineering or degree that develops robust critical thinking skills or any quantitative major.
  • 4+ years of work experience in technology, strategy consulting, investment banking, or a strategy-related role
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Content-specific: Experience with technology, Go-To-Market operations, and/or Saas companies
  • Growth mindset: Willingness to learn, partner, and provide guidance in areas that are not fully defined; open to feedback and learning opportunities
  • Problem-solving: Comfortable with data and ambiguity, and able to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher level strategy
  • Relationship building: Ability to build trust quickly, high degree of empathy and expertise at managing senior, cross-functional relationships
  • Initiative and ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities
  • Communications: Excellent communication skills to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Analytical abilities: Experience solving real-world business problems, ideally building/using advanced Excel models, SQL
  • MBA degree
  • Executive presence: Experience working closely with business leaders to solve challenging business problems; credibly present and debate recommendations with business partners
  • Proactiveness: Independently capable of seeking information in an unstructured environment, solving conceptual problems, socializing hypotheses, and proposing courses of action
  • Team-first attitude: Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business and how LinkedIn operates

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
