We are looking for a BD Executive with a proven track record for selling Data & Analytics consulting solutions and an innate ability to win friends and influence others.

What you will do:

  • Participate in status calls and other non-sales touchpoints to maintain and nurture an ongoing relationship with client stakeholders.
  • Research and understand our client’s practice areas of expertise (whether technical or business-focused) to discuss them intelligently with client leadership and internal partners.
  • Maintain our client’s CRM as a single source of truth for all tasks, opportunities, contacts, and accounts.
  • Manage multiple opportunities, acting as the “deal quarterback” by coordinating internal resources and stakeholders, at various sales stages, using proven and consistent follow-up skills to drive opportunities forward or qualify them out.
  • Own the sales process, as a motivated self-starter, driving customer acquisition and revenue to exceed targets, develop account plans for each opportunity, and execute the plan to success by leveraging valuable our client’s resources at your disposal.
  • Engage in networking, meetings, lunches, and outside-of-office touchpoints to build strong relationships with qualified leads.
  • Gather and document information through networking, prospecting, and client meetings to better understand areas where the client may require support.
  • Work with delivery teams to establish revenue targets and exceed those by strategically pursuing opportunities with prospects and existing clients with a value-based solution-selling approach.
  • Maintain urgency, with great flexibility to maintain a positive and motivating workstyle environment, utilizing a growth-oriented, learning, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Sell to business buyers and executive roles within Fortune 500 companies.
  • Deliver assigned revenue quota leveraging professional selling techniques to drive deal volume for services with an estimated $500K to $5.0M+ average deal size.
  • Execute approaches to expand our client’s footprint and revenue with existing accounts by penetrating additional lines of business, working with executive leadership, and selling greater strategic projects.

What you will bring:

  • Excellent networking and industry/market knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of business development, deal strategy, and contract negotiation.
  • Understanding of Analytics, Data Management, and Data Strategy concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage the sales process through qualification, needs analysis, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • 5+ years of experience selling Data & Analytics/Advanced Analytics/AI consulting services and consistently achieving goals.
  • Ability to travel as needed (25% or less)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business development-focused role, or an equivalent client-facing role within a professional services firm serving Fortune 500 clients.
