CLASS SUMMARY:
This is a stand-alone classification. Incumbents manage projects and/or programs to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations of assigned departments or functions. Responsibilities may include analyzing business functions; recommending rate changes; and revised policies and procedures; coordinating projects related to the implementation of new technology; compiling and analyzing data and recommending programmatic changes; representing the department to external stakeholders; and preparing statistical and analytical reports.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field and five years progressive responsibility in area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
