Job description
Responsibilities:
Tableau Financial Data Analyst to provide expert level consultation to our client organization in assisting them in achieving measurable improvements in their organizational performance. In this role you will be involved in facilitating change management activities in support of a large scale data initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a highly visible, complex data management program. This is a remote position.
Additional Responsibilities Include: Your role will initially include, but will not be limited to the following:
• • Develop, document and implement program Strategic Plans, to support strategic program- level direction
• • Document Concept of Operations and other DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) required documents, describing the characteristics of the proposed systems.
• • Document challenges and risks and develop associated risk mitigation strategies.
• • Analyze and design ways to improve efficiencies in the ways DHS collects and manages financial data.
• • Suggest and implement data standards, controls, and other methods to improve the quality of data.
• • Assist in the development, implementation and tracking program plans.
• • Assist in the development and implementation of program risk management policies and techniques.
• • Monitor program status, report issues promptly and assist in implementing risk reduction actions expeditiously.
• • Assist in the development and formulation of a range of presentations that address program objectives, plans, issues, and risks.
• • Identify, recommend and assist in implementing ideas and concepts for improving organizational efficiencies, cost savings initiatives, and quality- enhancing initiatives.
• • Assist in the development of required program and program-level plans and documentation.
• • Develop and maintain a SharePoint library of documents produced by the RMT and document procedures for their storage and subsequent updates.
• • Produce materials required for various meetings of the Executive Steering Committee (ESC),
• • DHS, OCFO Directors, and SELC gate reviews.
• • Assist in the development, facilitation and management of RMT’s SharePoint site to manage RMT’s day to day workflow.
Basic Qualifications
- • • 5+ years of experience using python automation, SQL query operations, dashboarding using Tableau and Excel using PowerQuery.
