Business Analyst Jobs

Desired Qualifications:

• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Process Mapping, and Visio
• In this role the candidate will be required to perform wireframing using Balsamiq, Lucidchart or Sketch.
• Proficiency/work experience with SQL.
• The candidate must be proficient in backlog management using JIRA / ADO.
• Experience running scrum meetings.
• Candidate must have professional experience as a Business Analyst and has obtained a bachelor’s degree.

Day-to-day:

• Leads all scrum ceremonies – daily stand-up, backlog refinement, planning, pointing, sprint review/demo, retro and sponsor check-ins
• Facilitates business process mapping using Visio, Lucidchart, mural or MS whiteboard.
• Ensures stories and acceptance criteria are appropriately defined & documented. Experience with JIRA or Azure Dev Ops for backlog management.
• Creates burn-up charts, project estimates, updates timelines and knows how to identify and communicate delays
• Facilitates the definition and development of user stories and project estimates with the product owner and SMEs to meet the business needs.
• Identifies dependencies on other teams and collaborates and communicates to resolve issues quickly
• Points product backlog and refines stories every sprint with the team.
• Works with the Product Owner to prioritize stories every sprint.
• Experience wireframing using Lucidchart or Balsamiq
• Designs, writes, and executes test cases to meet acceptance criteria for new functionality, enhancements, and defect repairs
• Experience writing SQL to query and validate test results in a database.
