Data Analyst Jobs

Position Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to evaluate issues that support prospective business decisions. This role will generate and deliver reports with key insights to assist leaders in managing information effectively to optimize departmental efficiency and performance. You will also help support the core analytics team with additional requests from other internal stakeholders.

This position can work a hybrid work schedule, but must be local to work in the office 2-3 days/week.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Partner with key stakeholders to leverage data and create new dashboards that will be used in day-to-day decisions by our Sales and Operations teams
• Support various departments in ad hoc data analysis to include claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Data, external reporting for healthcare and managed care data
• Automate existing reporting through existing or new software tools/reporting packages
• Design, develop, and deploy standardized Utilization and Service Level scorecards to support both internal and external partners
• Monitor the accuracy and quality of deliverables and continually work to improve the reports when necessary

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong attention to detail, must be able to provide reports with a high degree of accuracy
• Familiarity or past experience with R Studio, SQL Services, SAS, or Python
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
• Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience and/or passion in building dashboards and conducting quantitative analysis, visualization, and reporting and ability to consider multiple approaches to finding a solution
• Highly analytical, must be able to provide sound recommendations to leadership based on evidence and fact
• Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholder expectations

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Healthcare/Managed Care experience
• 2 years of Business Analyst or Data Analyst experience
• Experience with ERP/CRM software or Microsoft Dynamics CRM
