Business Analyst Jobs

Duration: 6+ months

:

• Build product backlog in terms of user stories, prioritize the backlog based on business value, and continuously keep the backlog up to date.
• Accept sprint results at sprint review and ensure the appropriate stakeholders are involved.
• Attend team ceremonies (e.g., planning, retro) as needed.
• Define the business value for the Product and support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary.
• Scope the MVP considering existing resource constraints and sustained development of the product
• Responsible for defining the product vision by breaking down the overall goals.
• Develop Product vision, OKRs, and roadmap; synchronize it with the Product Family and clearly communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure the product backlog is visible and transparent to the project team with clear expectations on work priority.
• Refinement of the backlog as needed.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders on a regular basis to gather feedback to help shape the future of the Product.
• Raise dependencies and roadblocks with support of the Senior Product Owner and Project Team Manager
• Team members should have clear understanding of the stories in the backlog and the business value they deliver.
• Define constraints or boundaries for attaining the product goal and work to resolve with the development team and stakeholders.
• Conduct/ participate in sprint ceremonies as needed.

Qualifications

• This person should have some technical product background Domain Expertise Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant business function (e.g., ITS)
• Strategic thinker capable of envisioning the future of the product.
• Experience participating in teams in an Agile setting
• Individual Skills Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
• Strong network and ability to influence decisions within the business function
• Strong problem solver with ability to manage & lead the team to push the solution & progress.
• Experience with the digital products / applications within the business function
• Experience in backlog prioritization and grooming, writing stories, user testing, etc.
• Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders.
• Understanding and knowledge of various internal roles (client, business and technology) and how they interact with their product
