The Station Manager is responsible for managing a multi-functional global transportation operation, and overseeing the Operations, Accounting, Sales, Business Development and Human Resources functions of a freight station.

The points below highlight the Station Manager duties:
- Reviews AR/AP reports and resolves discrepancies
- Maintains positive vendor relationships through timely payment of vendor’s invoices
- Trains and motivates employees by providing employees with information regarding new regulations as it pertains to their jobs, offering guidance and assistance to direct reports
- Manages P&Ls against budget and all accounting associated with station
- Reviews various other reports daily ensuring timely billing and movement of cargo
- Monitors expenses, and reduces unnecessary spending
- Maintains an international inbound and outbound transportation program Communicates with agents to ensure timely movement of cargo
- Maintains high compliance standards for Customs Brokerage by keeping abreast of new regulations affecting customers, ensuring requests from Customs are handled timely fashion, and through research classifications for clients, as well as reviewing the accuracy of POAs

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university
- Customs Brokerage License preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in international logistics (freight forwarding and customs brokerage experience optimal); or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a station in the Global Transportation industry
