Digital Production Assistant Jobs

The digital production assistant supports the weekly production of The Content Technologist newsletter, virtual events, and website maintenance. Working with The Content Technologist staff, this audience-facing position ensures materials are published on-time and error-free, and that vendor and collaborator partnerships run smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing for and managing virtual events twice monthly
• Various project management and administrative tasks as needed
• Managing sponsorship outreach and newsletter ad placements
• Up to 2 hours of weekly meetings with The Content Technologist staff
• Article publishing and website maintenance within the Ghost CMS

Qualifications:

• Excellent writing and communications skills, particularly with external partners
• Must be familiar with digital publishing in a content management, social media production, or project management system
• A curiosity about and interest in learning new software and digital publishing systemsis preferred
• Ability to stay on top of a potentially crowded email inbox

Compensation: $25/hour

Expected time commitment: 15 hours/week, between 9 am and 4pm Central time, M-F. Remote available.
