What You Will Do


The AVP, National Accounts will be responsible for the complete strategic vision and execution of account strategy and overall retail account management to build profitability and grow market share. The individual will maintain strong relationships with senior management at retail partners and effectively negotiates for space, location, exposure, margin, etc. The incumbent will oversee the DRTV team to support the QVC account within It Cosmetics. Currently the DRTV team consists of the account planning, production and on air guest teams.


The AVP – National Accounts Will Be Responsible For


  • Manage, coach and develop Guest, Account Management and Production Teams.
  • Responsible for retail & net sales goals for all retailer accounts
  • Create a positive culture and environment that inspires and motivates a high performing team.
  • Partner with cross functional teams (marketing, sales operations, demand planning, education Etc.) on building account specific marketing plans for gaining market share
  • Analyze and define the growth levers relevant to customer with specific focus on the shopper so selling is through shopper insights
  • Manage the overall and individual P&L for QVC retailer account
  • Lead in buy negotiations in partnership with Head of Sales
  • Build and execute a business plan for driving profitable growth at QVC, including all on air guest, production and account management teams.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual forecast and plans for all QVC retail channels including airtime, buy anytime, auto delivery, etc
  • Control and update stock and sales plan, product and GWP returns in partnership with Supply Chain partners.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnership with the QVC retailer account
  • Oversee strategy and execution for the overall stock levels and ensure appropriate product mix of stock is available to QVC by assuring timely ordering, proactively monitoring and resolving low or out of stock conditions


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree and minimum of 10 years’ experience in cosmetic or retail management
  • Proven experience in managing, motivating and developing a sales team
  • Proven ability to develop strategic goals, drive company sales and achieve profit objectives
  • Analytical and creative in approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems
  • Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
