Senior National Account Manager

*Must have Walmart Experience*

The Sr. National Account Manager is responsible for the Hair Accessories and Styling Tools categories within Walmart Beauty. This individual will have a direct relationship with the Walmart Merchant Team and all functional areas of Walmart working both tactically and strategically for best-in-class execution achieving sales and profitability goals for the company.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, trade-spending, cost to serve and profit goals
• Responsible for overall financial management (Trade Spend, Deductions, SRAs, SG&A)
• Creates new business building concepts that increase customer value
• Facilitates customer meetings to deliver corporate functional expertise
• Drives personal business building relationships with key customer leaders across functions
• Execution of DSMPs and the development of proposals which minimize market conflict
• Develop monthly sales and demand forecasts, working with the Director of Sales to create plans to address gaps/opportunities.
• Ongoing collaboration with functional leaders to jointly manage team resources and to establish required business direction
• Oversee and manage the current product listing, opportunities for new business, and new product launches.
• Influence customer’s strategic direction at the highest levels across critical customer departments
• Create sales presentations for Customer and Internal, utilizing facts and data to tell the story.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Omni Channel Experience
• Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve and work cross functionally
• Trained in strategic negotiations
• At least 5+ years of current, CPG, account management experience working with Walmart
• Strong presentation skills
• Understanding of business financials and experience presenting to Executive leadership within their own company and at top retailers
• Willingness to travel 10%
• Radical curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Syndicated Data, Trade Promotion Management
• Skilled / experienced with Retail Link , Item 360 and other data portals within Walmart, set up process and maintain all customer paperwork
• Supply Chain Working Knowledge
• Current experience with item level forecasting
