Job Description

Client Overview: Our client is a leader in the Childrens Market. They are seeking and Associate to join their fast paced Girls team.


Associate Girls Designer Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of cross-functional communication between merchants, production, technical design, and external vendors
  • Help with the preparation of presentation boards for seasonal/milestone meetings
  • Collaborate with other teams internally to organize & keep track of samples
  • Provide support from concept to design to final development of girls sportswear
  • Research concepts, create sketches, prototypes and artwork throughout the concept development phase

Associate Girls Designer Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Design
  • Understanding of customer preferences on fashion and style trends
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Children’s experience is a MUST
  • Strong sketching skills, color sense, and fabric knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Design or related area
