Canva Designer Jobs

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a subject matter expert in Canva for a 6-12 week remote contract. The role requires an individual who can work magic with templates, ensuring our clients social media presence shines brighter than ever before. As a specialist in the realm of Canva, you'll be responsible for crafting operational self-serve templates, taking design concepts from the creative team and transforming them into assets that resonate with their audience.

• This is a remote 40-hour/week contract the requires EST hours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop guidelines and documentation for the effective use of templates, ensuring seamless adoption across the organization.
• Work closely with the marketing and social media teams, catering to their specific template needs and providing timely solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in Canva to build innovative and visually stunning templates that align with brand guidelines.
• Seek feedback from team members and stakeholders, embracing constructive criticism to elevate your designs to new heights.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members on Canva, imparting your knowledge and empowering others to channel their creativity.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand their design vision for social media posts.
• Create user-friendly, self-serve templates, empowering the wider team to effortlessly generate consistent and striking content.
• Continuously optimize and refine existing templates to ensure maximum efficiency and visual appeal.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, incorporating fresh ideas and techniques into your template creations.

Required Qualifications:

• A deep understanding of design principles, composition, color theory, and typography.
• A keen eye for the latest design trends and the adaptability to incorporate them into your work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
• Proficiency in using Canva's various features, including customizing elements, creating animations, and mastering the platform's shortcuts.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect designs that exude professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, providing and receiving feedback gracefully.
• Proven experience as a Canva expert, with a strong portfolio showcasing your template design prowess.
• A positive attitude, unafraid to take risks, and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow in your craft.
• Exceptional creativity, demonstrated through your ability to think outside the box and deliver innovative designs.
