Job Description
Seeking an Assistant/Associate Designer for an iconic Womenswear Sportwear brand launch for Spring 2024. Will also be working on brand for various Shopping channels such HSN & QVC US+ International Media Networks. Please send work with resume..


Responsibilities:


  • Broad knowledge / understanding of garment construction across knit/woven categories.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Tech pack creation and management for all styles to be developed working in A2000 + Xcel + AI programs
  • Working on technical flat drawings/CADs using Adobe Illustrator for initial line presentations
  • Trend research and analysis
  • Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking on simultaneous projects.
  • Administrative work (upkeeping of samples, sending packages, organizing etc.)
  • Efficient communication with overseas factories to follow up on samples and submissions.
  • Lab Dip / Trim approvals
  • Making sure sketches/boards/line sheets are updated after presentations and internal line review meetings.
Requirements / Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Highly motivated, with positive attitude while working with a sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with the development process; communicating with overseas factories and vendor
  • Deadline driven work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a must
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with at least 2+ years’ prior design experience in womenswear
Salary:$65,000-$75,000
